Worship Ministry
Worship is a high value for our church and so we place a lot of emphasis on worship. We have 3 main values for worship namely intimacy, integrity and accessibility.
We have an annual camp and regular get togethers for all those on the worship teams. Members of the church are welcome to apply to join the worship team.
Counselling
New Life offers counselling, encouragement and deliverance by an experienced team of men and women counsellors. Our core value is that the Holy Spirit is the Counsellor.
The team is trained to listen and help you to go to the heart of your problem with the help of the Holy Spirit. Anyone requiring their services should contact the office and make an appointment. We also offer in situ training to people wanting to learn our method of counselling, dependent upon whether they have passed our criteria.
Missions
The church is involved in local and international missions. Our local missions involve our GO OUTREACH team that ministers to people on the street through prayer, deliverance and evangelism as well as social justice projects.
Our international missions see the church involved in leadership training and ministry support in many African countries such as Namibia, Angola, Zambia, DRC and others.
Prayer Rooms
The prayer rooms are exactly what the name says, we have a small team who pray for people for physical, spiritual, and emotional healing. The prayer rooms ministry is open to anyone who would like to receive prayer.
The Prayer Rooms operate on a Tuesday between 11am and 1pm (not open on public holidays.) There are 2 sessions: 11am to 12pm and 12pm to 1pm. To make an appointment please contact the church office.
Life Groups
We place a high value on relationships and fellowship and therefore encourage our members to belong to a life group. A life group is a place where you can build real relationships with others and enjoy relaxed but meaningful fellowship. We call them Life Groups because the purpose of these groups is to do life with God, others and the world.
Men’s Ministry
The church has an active men’s ministry. We meet at least once a month on a Saturday morning for a relaxed and informal time of fellowship over breakfast.
Once a quarter we have a Guys Night Out where we will all go for dinner together or organise a suitable activity outside the church.
Our annual Ultimate Braai Challenge is always the highlight of the year as well as our men’s camps.
Women’s Ministry
The Women’s ministry holds an event once a quarter. The venue is often at the New Life Vineyard church, and we host speakers, have worship time and occasionally have creative workshops together.
Children’s Church
Children’s church runs on Sunday mornings during the service. We run a dynamic, exciting, and relevant programs for children (Toddlers ages 3 – 6 and Grades 1 – 7).
Note: There is a room at the back of the church which has some toys and books for young children. Parents are welcome to supervise their children in this room for the duration of the service and still watch through the glass window.
